About Bryan Kelly

With 20 years experience as an IT Consultant within the Life Assurance and Financial Services sector, I have participated in all stages of major IT projects from a business and technical perspective. Currently based in Dublin, Ireland, I have worked internationally in Scandinavia, Benelux, Eastern Europe and Australia as well as in Ireland and the UK. Whether a company has been launching a new product, integrating systems post merger, navigating major compliance challenges or reinvigorating existing processes, I have always focused on making effective use of technology within the organisation. I have extensive knowledge of the platforms and products I have worked on and have endeavoured to keep myself aligned with the technical aspects of IT project work. For the last few years, I have been particularly focused on Business Intelligence/Analytics methodologies and platforms and I firmly believe there are significant gains an organisation can make with a properly implemented Business Intelligence strategy. Specialities include: Data Warehouse Automation with TimeXtender/Jet Data Manager, Web Development Technologies (HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, JavaScript, jQuery, Ruby, PHP), Business Intelligence Technologies (Qlikview, SAP Business Objects XI 3.1/ BI4, IBM Web Query, MySQL, DB2, SQL Server, SSIS, MS BI Tools, T-SQL), Legacy Platforms (AS/400, COBOL, Life/400), Project Methodologies (SCRUM, Agile, Test Driven Development, Kimball DW Lifecycle)
