About Bryan Kunze

I am currently in the Montefiore Health System as the Program Director for the Department of Hyperbaric Medicine on the Wakefield Campus working for Healogics. My journey here has been due to having an insatiable appetite for learning and having it noticed, recognized, and supported by my supervisors and colleagues. My career in healthcare started immediately after I graduated college when I started working as a Certified Hyperbaric Technician. I took pride in being detail oriented in the rules and regulations that govern Hyperbaric Medicine. There I was a valuable member of a team that successfully passed the Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Association’s (UHMS) accreditation survey (1st Hospital on Long Island to achieve this). My passion for learning led me to a start-up company. There in addition to treating patients, I became experienced in Community Education and Insurance Reimbursement. After 2 years I looked to further my career and accepted a Safety Director position with Healogic’s contracted with the Saint Clare’s Health System in New Jersey. My time at Saint Clare’s was split, I was was promoted within Healogics to the position of Area Safety Director and responsible for training and compliance of up to 30 Wound Care and Hyperbaric Centers. My journey to Montefiore is one of passion. I love to educate providers and patients as to benefits of Advanced Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine.
