About Bryan P. Brown

BRYAN P. BROWN, CPA BIOGRAPHY Bryan P. Brown graduated from Slippery Rock University in 1995 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration concentrating in Accounting. He is a Certified Public Accountant as accredited by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. He is also a member of the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Prior to graduation from Slippery Rock University, he completed an internship with Clark and Chamberlin. Upon graduating, he was hired by Clark and Chamberlin as a staff accountant. He continued with the firm and was promoted to Partner in 2004. On January 1, 2009 he was named President of Clark & Chamberlin LLC. Bryan is active with Pittsburgh start-up companies. He presents and meets individually, with Alpha Lab start-up companies twice a year to emphasize the importance of developing a strong team of advisors to assist such companies achieve their goals. He also discusses the importance of proper financial and tax planning strategies to prepare the company for long-term growth. Bryan was also one of the founders that created a group of young professionals who meet once a month to discuss current economic and business conditions that young entrepreneurs are dealing with as they strive to succeed in today's environment. Bryan is active within his community as a youth basketball coach. His Tiny Dribblers program has performed as halftime entertainment at Greensburg Central Catholic High School, Duquesne University, St. Vincent College as well as the for Harlem Globetrotters. He has three young boys and is very active with charities and fundraising efforts that directly impact his family. He also serves on the finance committee at his children's school, Queen of Angles.
