About Bryan Patten

As far back as I can remember, I have had a passion for helping others. Whether it was a shoulder to lean on, a small bit of wisdom, or an extra pair of hands to lighten the workload, I found myself stepping up when others needed help. Naturally this lead me to pursue the field of emergency services. Initially I dreamed of a career in Law Enforcement but opportunity opened a different door for me. That door led to the technology rich world of Emergency Dispatch. I was fortunate enough to grow up during the time when technology saw explosive growth and advancement. From the time I first touched a computer I was enthralled with the possibilities. From building custom PC's to writing code for old school video games, I wanted to try it all. What initially began as a hobby would grow into a passion. Through a combination of my passion for computer science and the fast growing world of emergency services technology, I saw another opportunity opening before me. And it was this revelation that inspired me to chart a new course into the world of software development. Specifically, software development for emergency services applications. As technology progresses, emergency services agencies around the world are forced to adapt to growing threats and new challenges. Law enforcement, fire and rescue, and 911 Centers must be armed with cutting edge technology to combat these threats and provide the highest quality service to those they serve.
