About Bryan Peery

As a PhD in history, I have honed my research, analytical, writing, and editing skills over the last decade. I enjoy conducting the archival research necessary to advance the specialized knowledge of the field, but I am even more passionate about sharing that historical knowledge with a broader audience, whether it be in the classroom or through innovative historical projects designed for exhibit halls or the web. I read widely and have experience writing on topics well outside my primary research fields of 20th-century U.S. intellectual and political history. Naturally disposed to edit, I rarely read a sentence without compulsively diagramming it in my head. Yet, my keen eye for details never prevents me from appreciating the big picture. I revel in working collaboratively to propose creative new projects and carry them out as efficiently and effectively as possible.
