About Bryan Poole

Currently I am a Registered Nurse specializing in emergency medicine. The emergency department I currently work in is an Arizona certified Level 1 Trauma center. I have been continuously active in healthcare since 2008. During my unlicensed career, I have worked in areas that not only contributed to my nursing knowledge but also confirmed that nursing was a field in which I would thrive. I have divided my career path into 3 phases, the 1st of which I have almost completed at the end of my third year of nursing (experience and certifications). After this phase, I plan on traveling as a nurse to understand how different EDs function across the country and internationally. After the traveling phase, I plan on embarking upon 1 of 3 continuing education paths: return to get a Doctorate of Nursing Practice, with an emphasis in trauma medicine; return to get a Master's of Science in Nursing Education in order to teach at the university level; or return to get a Master's of Science in Nursing Leadership/ Management. All three of these areas interest me but I am not quite sure where my talents will be most useful at this point in my career. I hope someday my talents will allow me to look back upon my career knowing I positively contributed to the prestigious field of nursing. After perusing through my profile, I am hoping it is apparent that I have ambition, passion, talent, and a desire to make a difference in the world through excellence in nursing!
