About Bryan R. Vallejo

I am a Geoinformatics Specialist at the GIScience Lab (GIST-Lab) at Aalto University in Finland. My work is focused on Spatial Data Science workflows using High-Performance Computing (HPC). Big spatial data processes require a long processing time, and I develop Python code that uses core parallelization to make GIS automation scalable and efficient in time processing. Topics like accessibility, travel-time, routing, proximity, and urban analytics are included in my work. I have broad expertise in geoinformatics for urban mobility using Python programming. In a more detailed overview, I have experience in developing GIS algorithms, coding workflows, educational workshops, creating maps, big data visualization, movement analysis with GPS data, and Earth Observation for Oceans.
