About Bryan Rivera

As a Coast Guard veteran with electrical skills, I have a diverse and adaptable background that spans various sectors and roles. I graduated with an Associate's Degree in Petroleum Technology/Technician from Lone Star College System in 2016, and since then, I have pursued multiple opportunities to expand my knowledge and experience in electrical systems and equipment. Most recently, I worked as a Field Services Engineer at Bruker AXS, where I analyzed, repaired, and maintained x-ray equipment for various customers within the designated region. I also compiled and submitted detailed and accurate reports, proposed enhancement methods, and cultivated and sustained service contracts. Prior to that, I served as an Electrician Mate in the U.S. Coast Guard for over six years, where I coordinated and managed electrical preventive and corrective maintenance activities for facilities and cutters, using ALMIS and CG-LIMS systems. I also demonstrated proficiency in operating and troubleshooting low voltage electrical systems, and ensured compliance with established standards and protocols. My career journey has enabled me to cultivate exceptional managerial and strategic planning skills, as well as a strong work ethic and a collaborative attitude. I am motivated to explore new avenues and diversify my professional portfolio, while contributing significantly to the future success of the organizations I engage with. Due to evolving circumstances, I am now planning to integrate coursework into my schedule and re-enter the workforce on a full-time basis.
