As a senior IT student at Liberty University with over 30 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing, semiconductor fabrication, and industrial systems, I bring operational discipline and real-world troubleshooting into IT and infrastructure roles.My background includes nine years in semiconductor microchip manufacturing and wafer-level micro-optics, along with experience in fiberglass non-wovens, logistics, CNC machining, maintenance, and production systems. I have supported complex equipment and production environments where uptime, safety, and reliability were mission critical.I have practical experience in industrial manufacturing automation and IT/OT integration, working alongside automation engineers to support networked production equipment and integrated control systems. This includes HMI network communications, PLC fundamentals and industrial automation systems, Siemens SINAMICS, and the TIA Portal ecosystem. I am familiar with industrial communications and manufacturing networking such as PROFINET, PROFIBUS, and SCADA/HMI environments (WinCC, OPC DA/UA), and I understand how control systems interface with enterprise IT networks.I also have experience with manufacturing execution systems (MES) and production data platforms, including MES integration software and Oracle Process Manufacturing.
