About Bryan Thiel

Sports give us some of the greatest stories there are to tell, and as the television industry continues to evolve, there is nothing that surpasses watching a sporting event in real time. I've been rinkside or in the booth for a number of big moments in the Ontario Hockey League the last few years. As a reporter, writer, and commentator, I have experience calling the action, bringing viewers added layers of depth to the broadcast with developing storylines, and breaking everything down after the final whistle. I have experience with a number of sports across amateur, professional and semi-professional ranks, including baseball, football, lacrosse, basketball, tennis, and soccer. With a growing interest in how people access their news and interact within their own networks, I recently completed my Social Media accreditation with Algonquin College. I not only have extensive experience in front of the camera and in video production, but have added experience measuring Social Media's impact, and using it as a marketing platform as well.
