About Bryan Wickert

I am a Licensed Structural Engineer (SE) and Architect (RA) in Illinois and a Licensed Professional engineer in California (PE). I am also an SE/PE in a few other states and can get licensed as a structural engineer or architect in most states throughout the country. 2) I have a dual degree background in both Structural engineering and Architecture from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign. I enjoy challenging projects including tenant work up to highrise building design.3) I have been exposed to the structural design of a variety of structures including highrise buildings up to 90 stories tall, long span roof structures, train stations, retail podiums, hospitals, data centers, museums, library's, residential structures, schools, pedestrian bridges, tenant work/adaptive re-use, and aviation.4) I have a lot of experience in steel, concrete, masonry, steel joists and deck, and foundation design. I also have some experience in post tensioned concrete, wood design, light gauge design and modifying clay tile arch floors. I have also done basic gravity steel connection and brace connection design for steel fabricators in the Chicago area.5) I also have helped grade the written portion for the NCEES Structural 16 (SE) license exam.
