About Bryan Williams

Flower and Flour began when David Reid (co-owner) and I began searching for great locally baked cakes and confections. The results of that search led us to the ultimate collaboration, sharing recipes and innovative ways to make cakes and confections we loved. Using simple ingredients of the highest quality, creative flavor combinations and a love of sugar flower art, our company “Flower and Flour” sprung to life. Our early portfolio of wedding and event cakes has grown to include sweet indulgences of all types: macarons, chocolates, specialty desserts, custom decorated sugar cookies and gourmet cupcakes. Our macarons and custom cookies regularly ship throughout the United States and Canada. In late 2012 we opened our first retail location, the "Shuga Shak – Chic Confections," located at 6020 Oleander Drive in Wilmington, North Carolina. Here, we offer freshly baked macarons, decorated sugar cookies, luscious cupcakes, pastries, artisan chocolates and an ever changing array of delectable treats and select gift items. We open at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday through Saturday and close at 5:00 p.m. We bake daily at Flower and Flour, and stock the Shuga Shak with delicious and unexpected items each day.
