As an HR/Safety professional at Cannonball Trucking Inc, a leading provider of freight transportation and logistics services in the region. With over 2.5 years of experience in this role, I have developed and demonstrated strong problem solving, communication, and multitasking skills, as well as a deep knowledge of the transportation industry and its regulations and challenges. My responsibilities include ensuring the safety and well-being of the drivers and staff, implementing and monitoring safety policies and procedures, conducting training and orientation sessions, and handling employee relations and compliance issues. I also support the customer service and operations functions, delivering high-quality service and satisfaction to the clients and partners. I am passionate about the transportation industry and aspire to build a career in this dynamic and challenging field. I am currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Human Resources Development at the University of Houston, where I am also the president of Alpha Kappa Psi - Tau Psi, the largest co-ed professional business fraternity in the nation.
