I have spent many years processing Canadian Payroll and in the process have used many different payroll and accounting systems. Of the many systems I have used Success factors, SAP Employee Central payroll, Ellipse, and Dayforce HCM are the systems I am most comfortable in. In 2018-2020 I was involved in the implementation of the SAP Employee Central payroll and learned a great deal on how the system works. Payroll is a great team process as you have to work with all the stakeholders in the process from the employees to HR and Finance professionals to management. I enjoy the problem solving aspects of payroll. Whether that be resolving an issue an employee has with their pay or developing a new process to better audit payroll, or testing a solution to a system issue.
