Hi, I'm Bryce.I’m a UX designer with a background in education and visual art. I bring value to organizations by leveraging creativity, positivity, and empathy to solve design problems. As an educator and artist, design thinking and visual communication is ingrained in how I work. My professional background has equipped me with a wide range of transferable skills, giving me an edge for 3 practical reasons:​•Mentorship- I lead teams of people by unlocking their hidden talents and understanding their motivations.•Flexibility- The only constant is change. I’m a chameleon accustomed to wearing many hats.•Design focus- I create compelling and functional user experiences that hook people; inspiring them to engage, explore, and dare I say, experience joy.I’m qualified for a UX role because I’ve been preparing for it everyday in the classroom- I built an engaging curriculum, now I build engaging user experiences. I learned about my students, now I conduct user research. I recognized classroom problems, now I spot usability issues. I leverage practical, transferable skills and apply a design thinking methodology to create user-centered experiences with intention.​When I'm not designing interfaces and perfecting my UX craft, you can find me riding my bicycle, making breakfast, or walking in the woods. I live in a tiny village with my life companion, Morgan, and my mutt-muffin, Lila.
