About Bryce Corbett

I'm a media and communications professional with more than 25 years experience - both in Australia and internationally. I'm the author of four best-selling books, a respected journalist with extensive print and TV experience - but also an accomplished corporate affairs practitioner. As Director of Squiz Kids, I founded Australia's premier daily news podcast for kids - currently listened to by over kids every day, including in classrooms around the country. My journalism experience runs the gamut of the industry: I have variously toiled as a columnist and senior writer at the Australian Financial Review, as a producer for '60 Minutes', the Executive Editor of The Australian Women's Weekly, a columnist with the Daily Telegraph and - in London - I worked as a journalist with Sky News, The Times and Mail On Sunday. While best known in Australia for my work as a journalist, columnist and author - I spent ten years as a senior corporate communications professional in Europe, living and working in London and Paris. Most recently, I have worked as a strategic communications consultant with the Sydney-based agency, Domestique. My corporate affairs experience was otherwise forged in Europe, where I served for six years as the Director of Communications of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) in Paris, before establishing my own media consultancy. The four books I wrote - including Rosie Batty's 'A Mother's Story', Turia Pitt's 'Unmasked' and my own memoir,'A Town Like Paris', were all national best-sellers. I also have start-up experience, having co-founded the cloud desktop jooce.com whilst living and working in Paris, and, more recently, as a founding shareholder in The Squiz. As adept at creating content as I am devising media strategy, I have the sort of skill set, experience, creative energy and comprehensive network that makes me an asset to any company.
