About Bryce Johnson

Bryce Johnson is a Senior Engineer II at Roux, a leading environmental consulting and management firm, where he applies his PhD in Environmental Engineering and his skills in fate and transport, and writing to solve complex environmental challenges. He has over 15 years of experience as an environmental engineer and community-driven scientist-teacher working in local and international settings. Bryce was also a Visiting Assistant Teaching Professor of Environmental Engineering at Villanova University, where he taught undergraduate and graduate courses, mentored student-led group projects, and created inclusive and learner-centered pedagogy. Previously, he founded and led a nonprofit organization that established and strengthened science education for Himalayan educational and spiritual leaders, building salient partnerships with expert educators and institutions, and overseeing a year-round calendar of community-driven science education programs. He also worked as a Staff Scientist at the Exploratorium museum and the San Francisco Bay Water Quality Control Board, and as an Intelligence Community Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Texas A&M University. Bryce is passionate about humanitarian engineering and community development, cross-cultural collaborations, and moderating and consensus building.
