About Brylee Gingras

I'm a Technical Apparel Designer with over 13 years of experience specializing in outerwear design, technical design, and performance apparel. My career has focused on developing innovative, athlete-informed products for mountain environments, including technical snow apparel, climbing apparel, and high-output hiking layers. Currently as the Senior Designer for Snowsports at Arc'teryx, I lead design efforts across both men’s and women’s Snow collaborating closely with cross-functional teams from concept to execution. My background spans from design development, patterning, construction, and testing — always with an emphasis on functionality, movement, expression and purpose. Key accomplishments include the Women’s Alpha Parka, Rush Ski Touring Kits (Men’s and Women’s), Women’s Proton, and Women’s Squamish, along with extensive involvement across the full Snowsports line over multiple seasons. I believe in designing through doing — whether that means testing products in the backcountry or collaborating directly with athletes to refine every detail. Always open to connecting with other design professionals and outdoor performance brands pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in technical apparel.
