About Bryn Bhalerao

Hello everyone! My name is Bryn Bhalerao and here are a few important things you need to know about me before you scroll down my page. I am originally from Toronto, Ontario but as I follow my professional career in academia, I seem to be traveling farther south through Ontario. I first completed my undergraduate degree in Biomedical Science at the University of Guelph where I discovered my passion for anatomical sciences and teaching. This led me to pursue a Master’s in Clinical Anatomy at Western University in London, Ontario. As I found a deep sense of belonging in the academic community, I was inspired and motivated by those around me as I trained to become a gross anatomist, researcher, and teacher.I have had the privilege to work alongside outstanding researchers of different backgrounds, and I have been involved in a variety of projects. Such areas include the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning, and translational cadaveric research, studied within the context of anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology. I also gain professional fulfillment through my role as an instructor in higher education as I am able to teach and learn from my students in the classroom and gross anatomy lab. I am excited about the opportunities to contribute to the anatomical and educational fields, as I aim to continue to be involved in interdisciplinary research and education. Aside from academics, I have found passion and purpose in the arts, sports, and nature. As a dancer turned kickboxer, I look forward to exercising after work for stress management and I also enjoy channelling my creativity into painting and playing the ukulele. However, swimming is the activity that never fails to bring a smile to my face and is the interest that led me toward a career in teaching.
