About Brynn Handlon

I am a construction manager in training, a professional and a passionate student of knowledge with a BS in Industrial Engineering Technology. Briefly supported 2025 AIP Contract 1 airfield improvements at the Seattle Tacoma International Airport. Supported Seattle City Light Generation with replacement of the trash racks at Diablo Dam. Assisted RE with day to day tasks and provided inspection and reporting services for this project and the powerhouse roof and HVAC replacement project. Previously supported the SDOT Madison Street Bus Rapid Transit project on capital/ first hill as payment office engineer. Kent, Auburn, Sumner and the Puyallup Station Garage and Access improvement projects for Sound Transit. The Sumner Parking Garage project is a design build project, which I am acting as the Office Engineer. My role is to coordinate between owners, stakeholders, contractor, and my own team to respond to, review, and distribute submittals and RFIs, develop and negotiate changes on behalf of Sound Transit, and provide field services when applicable. Project Management experience with Facilities Maintenance at CWU. Experience with Lean Processes/manufacturing/assembly/Q&A at Genie Lift. Always open to hearing about opportunities to problem solve and deliver quality management of projects that keep our community accessible, beautiful, clean and safe. My professional interests include engineering project management, industrial design, graphics engineering, problem solving, Lean manufacturing, Lean processes, computer aided design and modeling, physics, material science, industrial construction, heavy industrial machines, and fluid power. My hobbies include gardening, wood and metal working, furniture making, outdoors, bushcrafting, hiking, pets, reading about science and business news, learning the stock market, and keeping up with current technology both in construction and in the digital world. Recently I joined my work group Toast Masters team and have been enjoying learning to be a better pubic speaker.
