I'm a project manager who thinks like a coach— because I used to be one. Sailed competitively, coached sailing in Nova Scotia and Newfoundland, and learned that you can't control the wind, only your response to it. Turns out that's exactly how good project management works too. Most PMs treat projects like puzzles to solve. I treat them like teams to unlock. I work at the intersection of coaching, operations, tech, and finance— which is a fancy way of saying I speak fluent "spreadsheet" and "human" with equal confidence. What I actually do: I'm a PMP-certified Senior IT Project Manager who specializes in ERP implementations and system transformations that don't make people want to quit. I've spent years translating between: Finance teams who need their COA just so and their reports yesterday Operations folks who just want the system to work IT teams who are tired of being blamed for bad requirements ERP projects fail when people treat them like IT problems. They're people problems with a software component. I've led implementations, commercialization rollouts, and strategic initiatives where the real work isn't configuring the system—it's getting everyone rowing in the same direction when their boats are pointed different ways.
