About Bryson Jacobs

As a child I had a fantastic imagination. Just like many children when they are younger, I held a slew of imaginary jobs. I excelled in my backyard Aeronautics program and was the first preschooler to make it to Pluto with an old refrigerator box as my shuttle. I was the toughest cowboy in the west and a professional athlete. I solved complex problems and invented new products like flavor changing gum and glow in the dark trees, to light city streets."If you do something you love, you will never work a day in your life." My mom used to always tell me this as a child and I never understood what she meant until I got older. All my imaginary jobs seemed so fun and easy. Then at 12, I got my first job. I loved caddying. It was a great first job. But even though I loved my first job, I knew it wasn't something I could do forever. I needed to be able to work with something I was truly passionate about. As I've gotten older I learned that my true passions were problem solving and working with people and taking calculated risks. The more complex the problem, the better. If I can solve problems and better my community by doing so, I will never work a day in my life.
