About Bryson Stanley

My name is Bryson Stanley and I am a junior at Eastern Kentucky University. I am double majoring in Finance and Risk Management and Insurance. I have experience in planning and budgeting events through my experience as an event coordination intern at Florence Baptist Church. I was also able to lead high school students at an array of events in my experience there. My other job experience, including being a logistics operator at UPS and a maintenance worker for Stanley Funeral Homes, has helped me to better understand the details of supply chain management, and general business workforce principles. In high school, I was able to use my dedication and natural abilities to maintain a high level of excellence in a variety of areas. I was able to maintain a 4.0 GPA and graduated within the top 5 of my class while taking a rigorous course schedule to maximize my potential. A large portion of my coursework and effort was centered around various classes in the finance realm, which is what sparked my interest to take my career in this direction. I was also involved in various sports and clubs during high school, including basketball, track, and Fellowship of Christian Athletes, in which I usually assumed a leadership role. As a result of my performance and involvement, I was able to earn a notable scholarship to attend Eastern Kentucky University. Thus far at Eastern Kentucky University, I have maintained a 3.8 GPA and received the honor of being named to the Dean’s List for the spring of 2022, as well as the President’s List for the fall of 2021. Through my college coursework, I have greatly expanded my financial understanding, business acumen, and overall skillset. I have improved upon my already distinguished skills in working with and understanding numbers. The inclusion of group assignments has helped me to become a more complete communicator and leader. My drive and ability to quickly learn new skills leads me to believe that I would be a great asset for many companies. Furthermore, and most importantly, I have a desire to help people. In the line of work that I hope to enter, this will propel me to consistently do my job to the best of my ability. I am currently pursuing internships that will help me gain experience in business culture and exposure to financial concepts. I hope to never stop learning, meeting new people, and bettering myself for the betterment of society.
