About Bryson Wilcoxson

My very first job was a Cashier at Target in the Columbia Heights area of DC, when I first moved back to DC. But I wanted a job within in degree, which is BA in Social Work. Worked National Children's Center (NCC) as a Residential Counselor in a Group Home for almost 3 years. Then later, ended up working at Deaf-REACH at the day program that some of my members from NCC were attending to. Became interested, that's how I got the job at Deaf-REACH. I truly believe that deaf people that have mental health issues along with intellectual and developmental disabilities really needs our help when it comes to meeting their needs as in emotionally, financially, mentally, physically, and spiritually. As their advocate, their supporter, their guidance, we help them to make the best decisions regarding to what they need and want, to have connections with the people that are part of their lives. I also look forward to getting my Masters. In what? Not too sure, but im sure it will be either in Social Work or Counseling
