About Buay Wuol

I’m a recent University of Nebraska - Lincoln graduate with a Sociology major and Ethnic Studies Minor, while employed as a full-time Business Systems Analyst at NTT DATA, INC. My academic interests and skills focus on the many ways that micro- and macro-societal factors interplay, as well as how these factors inform beliefs which can serve to further entrench existing inequities. As a lifetime member of the International Sociology Honor Society (Alpha Kappa Delta), I intend to combine both my academic and professional careers to better understanding, and improving communities. With these passions, skills, and goals in mind, I am exciting and honored to continue this academic journey at the graduate level this Fall 2025 Term at the Georgia Institute of Technology's School of City and Regional Planning as a Master of City and Regional Planning student.
