About Buck Polya

As a Structural Welding Engineer at RGNext, I apply my engineering knowledge and skills to support the structural inspection, repair, and fabrication of the ALTAIR antenna, a vital asset for the U.S. Department of Defence. I have over six years of experience in welding engineering, construction engineering, and project engineering, working in various industries such as energy, construction, and manufacturing. I hold a Master of Engineering in Welding Engineering from The Ohio State University and a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Alaska Anchorage. I am also a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) and have multiple certifications in non-destructive testing and drill string management. I enjoy working with diverse teams and solving complex problems. My goal is to ensure the safety, quality, and efficiency of the structural welding projects at RGNext and to contribute to the advancement of the welding engineering field.
