About Budimir Drakulic

Since February 2009, Budimir Drakulic, PHD has served as chief scientist at BioSig Technologies, Inc. and was one of the Company's Board of Directors from inception through October 25, 2013. Since 2006, Budimir Drakulic PHD had been Chief Scientist and Director of Research & Development at Signalife, Inc.(formerly known as Recom Managed Systems Inc, and currently known as Heart Tronics). He is responsible for managing its in-house research and development activities. Additionally, he serves as Principal Technology Manager of Signalife, Inc. and acts as its spokesman in connection with technical issues. Since October 15, 2002, Draculic PHD had served as Vice President and Chief Technology Officer and since October 2006 as Acting Chief Technology Officer and Chief Scientific Officer of Signalife, Inc.Drakulic PHD’s 25-years-long experience encompasses design, development and integration of hardware and software modules for biomedical microelectronics circuits and systems. From 1997 to February 2002, he was previously employed as a Research and Development Principal of Advanced Heart Technologies, Inc, and its predecessor Advanced Heart Monitoring.From 1992 to 1997, he served as the Consultant and Chief Scientist at the Medical Device Business Unit for Teledyne Electronic Technologies.Furthermore, Drakulic PHD held numerous positions affiliated with the University of California at Los Angeles. These positions include Visiting Assistant Professor with the Electrical Engineering Department and Director of the Microelectronics Development Lab at the Crump Institute for Medical Engineering. In 1985, Budimir Drakulic PHD received the Marjorie Crump Prize for Excellence in Medical Engineering from UCLA. Also, he was a Research Fellow with the Crump Institute for Medical Engineering at UCLA. He graduated from the University of Belgrade, Ex-Yugoslavia and holds a Bachelor of Science degree. Additionally, he holds a Masters degree and a PHD in Electronic and Biomedical Engineering from the same university.
