About Bugase Jonas
I hold a PhD in Experimental Soft Matter Physics from the University of Bayreuth, Germany. I have several years of experience in both teaching and conducting fundamental research at higher education institutions. I have strong experimental skills and characterization techniques for studying magnetic particles and thin film systems including clean room experience. My research is focused on the study of phenomena exhibited by soft materials such as magnetic colloids mediated by external magnetic fields. I explore their self-assembly, collective behavior, transport dynamics, interfacial properties, and related physical behavior. I am also interested in the exotic and emergent properties of Ferromagnetic and antiferromagnetic-based magnetic thin films through their structural and composition modification. Finally, I am excited about tailoring these systems for biomedical and engineering applications.
