VDLJANSEN (former JANSEN POULTRY EQUIPMENT) is not only an equipment manufacturer and seller. Beside this we have been supplying consultancy services to our customers in order to increase their yield and income so that the pay back time of their investment goes down. Since 2016, we have been making studies with integrated companies in Turkey in broiler breeder houses about the effect of Jansen PREMIUM + Nest on the floor eggs, hatchability, number of collected eggs and workmanship compared to traditional manual galvanized nests. The results have proved us that farmers are losing a lot of money because they do not use automatic nest. We have proved that; in traditional manual nest houses the farmers are having high percentage of floor eggs, where 6-8% of them are already lost in the litter before they are seen by the farmer. They also have to pay double for workmanship. Of course, the most important issue is the total number of collected quality eggs and the hatchability where we see huge differences compared to manual nests.
