About Burke Dalpez

I've always enjoyed the work that follows my job title but I've come to realize that some of my most favorite professional accomplishments have come from outside of my core responsibilities. These would include those 'special projects' where there is an issue or opportunity which needs to be addressed. Some of these projects get assigned to us, other times we see an opportunity in the work we're directly involved in and take initiative, or sometimes we volunteer for the request because we can do it; but either way I love working on them because they can challenge me to think differently and flex my creative muscles. Another passion of mine is working with people. Either in a team capacity, client relationship, leading/managing, some sales, internal/external customer support, volunteer; being able to connect to accomplish goals is a great strength we have as human beings. That being said I also enjoy being able to focus in and work alone to get a task completed. I have a wide range of experience working from eight person start-ups to the top companies of the world across various industries. I was an HOA President for 10 years, I've also been the top (white helmet) for corporate building emergency responses, and now a dad of two amazing boys. All of those variables (and more) have built me the experience of being a part of countless processes, adapting to change, and working with all kinds of people and I want more. I also like to think my BA in Motion Pictures afforded me a degree in 'project management' as I learned how to accomplish all of the technical/creative aspects of creating a movie within both time and budget constraints.
