Innovation and leadership are my core foundations in order to foster broad, productive relationships and forward capacities in multiple industries and trades including: Aviation Safety Management Systems, Business Continuity and Emergency Planning, Construction Management, Environmental Engineering and Compliance, Occupational Safety and Health, Risk Management, Water Infrastructure. Prestigious accomplishments include multi-year nominations and honorarium in acknowledgement of community service and philanthropy from the State of Maryland for ‘impressive commitment to the people of Maryland, inspiring to excel in all aspects of their lives…earning the tremendous respect of our public at-large…and in honor of noteworthy contributions as a true and dedicated volunteer’. Recipient of the Daily Points of Light Award, honoring ‘those who have made a commitment to secure for all Americans - especially young people - the fundamental resources needed to lead a productive life’. My consistent application of these ambitions has enabled me to excel at each step of my varied professional journey, which started logging soil cores alongside drill rigs with the Army Corps of Engineers. That work was truly exceptional and throughout those long days I’ve capitalized on every opportunity to show my appreciation and respect for workplaces of all types, as well as the dedicated cohort that composes them. I’ve learned that we mostly understand and are well-prepared for the challenges of tomorrow, and it comes down to our commitment to overcome them together. The collaboration needed to transit these inflection points comes in many forms and can perhaps be summarized as 'It’s all about relationships'. Over the last 17 years, I’ve been fortunate to galvanize these relationships and through committing to my work, I consistently deliver the context and strategy that enables our safety mindsets to evolve and respond to risk. I am an avid horticulturalist, art collector, volunteer, and find joy in the pursuit of great food.
