About Cabianca Daphne
Molecular biologist by training, I began my research career working on RNA in mammalian systems. While studying the human genetic disease FSHD muscular dystrophy, I became fascinated with epigenetic mechanisms of gene expression regulation. To study the function of nuclear architecture, I learnt to use C. elegans as a model organism. My current focus of research is on the link between environment, particularly metabolic inputs, and chromatin organization.
