About Caden Merrick

I am an Appraiser at Cushman & Wakefield and am working towards earning my General Certified. I constantly search for opportunities to serve and improve the communities and people that surround me. I graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia with a Business Degree, with a dual emphasis in Finance and Real Estate. Since I was five years old, my parents have been involved in the real estate industry and this has created a personal affinity for the industry.Growing up in Kansas City and wishing to stay there, I have pursued many opportunities to develop my character and experience. I have had two internships, one at BASYS Processing, a Credit-Card Processor located in Kansas City, and another at the Missouri House of Representatives. At the latter once my internship was completed, they valued my work ethic and intelligence enough to hire me back on the next session for a paid position. I received a resolution passed on the Missouri House of Representatives floor honoring me, that emphasized my importance to the team and my character. Some of my skills I have developed a proficiency in through my experiences include Public Speaking, Writing, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Teams, efficiency in Communication, and leadership.
