About Cady Andersson

It is time to stop shame and blame education - both through teaching inside the classroom and advocating for the dignity of children outside of it. Whether in the classroom, or in the home, it is our duty to help educate other important adults on how to preserve and protect the dignity of children. I seek to teach and build a parent support network that will help children beyond my life by impacting the most important people in theirs - their caregivers. From a very young age, my intrapersonal and interpersonal skills have been fine tuned. Astute awareness of the feelings of those around me - including children - produced a deep respect for their dignity. These factors led me to my career in teaching. Passionate about empowering parents, teachers, and caregivers with positive discipline skills, I have created a company, a resource page, as well as a podcast (Compassionate Childcare LLC and The Compassionate Caregiver Podcast). I am a Certified Positive Discipline Parent Educator. I have been a speaker at International Nanny Training Day (Chicago), as well as featured on several podcasts regarding the care and education of children. The greatest impact a teacher can have in the lives of their students is by influencing the parents. For this reason, caregiver empowerment and encouragement is vital. The formation of Compassionate Childcare LLC is where these beliefs meet action. Let's change the world together.
