Experienced and passionate decarbonisation and project management professional with over thirteen years of experience delivering decarbonisation and technology projects at BHP and South32. In my previous role as Principal, Group Decarbonisation Strategy, I led the integration of South32’s decarbonisation strategy across its global operations, driving reductions in greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions in alignment with the company’s public commitments and climate change ambitions. Before transitioning into decarbonisation, I built a strong foundation as a Technology Project/Program Manager at BHP and South32, where I successfully led large-scale, multi-disciplinary programs focused on technology and innovation. I bring a versatile skillset spanning project and program management, cross-functional collaboration, stakeholder engagement, and strategic planning. My approach combines technical insight with a results-driven mindset to deliver measurable impact and operational excellence. Currently undertaking a Master by Philosophy (MPhil) in Decarbonisation of the Mining Industry, with research focused on how the mining will navigate the tension of reducing GHG emissions and increasing production at the same time. This academic pursuit strengthens my ability to apply cutting-edge thinking to real-world challenges across the resources sector. Fluent in English and Portuguese, with conversational Spanish, I thrive in fast-paced, complex environments and am known for driving collaboration, innovation, and practical outcomes.
