Caique M. P. Ternes, MD, PhD, earned his medical degree from the Federal University of Santa Catarina and completed a PhD in Cardiology at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul. Served as principal investigator of the SBR-AF Registry — the largest multicenter prospective registry in Latin America evaluating outcomes after atrial fibrillation ablation, developed as part of his doctoral research; and on the steering committee of the PhysioSync-HF Trial (NCT05572736), a multicenter, randomized, controlled trial comparing conduction system pacing with biventricular pacing in heart failure.
