About Caireen Sutherland

I am an experienced QTVI & QTMSI with experience of working in local authorities, the voluntary sector and independently. I am thrilled to be Programme Lead and Senior Lecturer on the MQ in MSI at Seashell Trust and partner University. Training the next generation of specialist teachers in this sector is exciting and a privilege. I have a range of skills in terms of offering support, training, mentoring and advice to professionals. In addition I am able to offer a range of holistic assessments for children with sensory impairment and additional disabilities. Creating and managing large scale projects as well as new services complement my range of practitioner skills and knowledge and enable me to design and deliver projects which support young people to live full and independent lives. In addition to offering a range of training packages, I am an experienced speaker and lecturer at both national and international conferences and events presenting on my areas of skills, knowledge and interest across sensory impairment.
