About Caitlin Biddolph

I'm a Lecturer in International Relations at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS), with research expertise in queer, feminist, and decolonial approaches to global politics. I'm Co-Course Coordinator of the Master of International Relations at UTS, and teach into the program as Subject Designer and Coordinator. Prior to this role, I was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Gender and Global Governance at the University of Sydney. I completed my PhD in International Relations at the University of New South Wales (UNSW), Australia, and was formerly a Research Associate with the Australian Human Rights Institute. I am an Associate Fellow of AdvanceHE (AFHEA). My primary research focuses on queering governance, international law, and transitional justice. My doctoral research explored discourses and logics of gender, sexuality, civilisation, and violence at the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY). I'm currently researching transitional justice through queer decolonial perspectives. I also serve as a Digital Media Editor for the International Feminist Journal of Politics, and as a Co-Series Editor for the Routledge Studies in Gender and Global Politics book series.
