Laboratory Manager at Hone, Australia's leading specialist in agricultural technology for in-field quality measurement. With a PhD in Biological Sciences, I specialize in reproductive science and have extensive experience in laboratory management. At Hone, I oversee lab operations, manage research projects, and ensure high standards of accuracy and efficiency. Our focus is on providing Australian farmers with real-time data through NIR spectroscopy for grain, leaf tissue, and soil analysis. Previously, I worked with the Animal Reproduction group at the University of Sydney, where I honed my skills in time and resource management, communication, and organization. I have extensive technical expertise in assessing and processing semen from various species and conducting advanced molecular assays. I have also supervised MPhil and undergraduate honours student research projects, providing training, research support, and mentoring. My PhD research focused on the impact of the environmental xenobiotic acrylamide on the male reproductive tract and the multigenerational effects of chronic exposure, using in vivo animal models and in vitro cell models, alongside many molecular biology techniques.
