What is a job, really? Sure, most people would say it’s a way to make money or support themselves—and they’re not wrong. But I like to think a job should be something more than just a paycheck. It should be something that fires you up, challenges you, and gives you a reason to show up every day ready to make an impact. Growing up as a competitive swimmer, I learned early on what it means to give 100%—even at 5 AM, half-asleep, diving into a freezing pool (character-building, right?). That same drive has carried over into my career. Whether I was deep in spreadsheets as an accountant or now helping others find their dream roles as a recruiter, I’ve always believed in showing up, working hard, and making it count. I’m an experienced Accountant-turned-Recruiter with a background in tax and audit, across both public and corporate sectors. A proud University of South Carolina grad (go Gamecocks!), I’m passionate about using my industry knowledge to help people find not just a job—but the right job. Because everyone deserves to feel excited about what they do.
