About Caitlin Gibson

I completed my Master’s in Athletic Training at Saint Louis University in 2018 and received a professional excellence award from the Athletic Training Program. My undergraduate studies included a minor in interprofessional education, which emphasizes communication and collaboration between different medical professions. My graduate studies included over 1,500 clinical hours in a variety of placements ranging from semi-professional rugby in Scotland, to college sports and a wide variety of high school sports. I also had the opportunity to provide athletic training support as a volunteer with the USA women’s and men’s gymnastics team before they headed to the Summer Olympics in 2016. During my time at Saint Louis University, I was the president of the Saint Louis Athletic Training Society. In addition, my clinical experience included time shadowing a sports medicine physician, which gives me an appreciation for working in a medical clinic environment and communicating with team physicians.
