About Caitlin Masters

Caitlin Masters is a registered architect, focused on delivering projects within the Health, Education and Aged Care sectors. During her time with the Bickerton Masters Group, Caitlin has regularly worked with clients throughout New South Wales, Queensland, and Victoria. Prior to working in the Health sector, Caitlin has undertaken several educational projects, including schools, childcare and vocational education facilities. In 2019, Caitlin worked with Hede Architects to oversee the detailed design and documentation of a vertical school building in Glen Iris, Victoria. Caitlin has a strong research background. In 2016 Caitlin was awarded a Research Scholarship by the University of Queensland to construct a digital model of a section of ANZAC Cove, and provide input into a video for the State Library of Queensland’s QANZAC 100 digital series. In 2017, Caitlin was awarded the University of Queensland Master of Architectural Thesis Award, which investigated the potential diversification of architectural services into research and policy sectors. From 2018-2019, Caitlin was employed by Pozzoni Architects in London on the Westhorpe Gardens Social Housing project (£60-80m). On this project, Caitlin provided design input into Independent Aged Living buildings and assisted with the planning application to the Greater London Authority (GLA) and Draft New London Plan. Caitlin champions a ‘hands-on’ service approach and regularly invests time in dealing with the details of a project; connecting with clients and understanding their specific needs. Caitlin’s collaborative working style makes her visible and available to clients and helps her to get the best out of a multidisciplinary project team.Prior to taking up the architectural profession, Caitlin was formally trained in Business Management, and delivered diversified professional services at Calibre Consulting (formerly Brown Consulting). This background provides her with unique business acumen and insights, allowing her to appreciate client’s operational objectives; enriching the architectural design process.
