Hi, I'm Caitlin! Welcome to my LinkedIn! I'm a designer, photographer, writer, and overall lover of all things creative. At any given time, you'll find me doodling, knitting, making vector art, re-decorating, or cooking. I like to say that my design career began when I was just four years old after seeing an episode of Project Runway. While watching designers tackle the challenge of creating outfits out of trash, I was inspired to sketch a dress made of lettuce leaves. The rest was history. My path to design work has also been guided by a unique balance of both logical and artistic principles. What does that mean, you might be asking yourself. To me it means that I am the child, grandchild, and sister of four computer scientists, one artist, one creative business coach, one math teacher, and a lawyer. While I have learned from the artistic members of my family about the value of letting creativity flow without restraint, I have also learned from my analytical family members that creativity is only as effective as its follow-through. So, I like to think of my work as Organized Creativity. I like to think that I bring the best of both worlds to the table. Not only can I dream of unique solutions, but I'm also capable of making those dreams a practical reality. As far as I'm concerned, that's what being a designer is all about.
