About Caitlin McMonagle

I'm transitioning from a 15 year foundational career in medical device engineering project management into the public health industry. I'm looking forward to getting my hands dirty in the research and data analysis to inform good public health policies. Specific interests include women's reproductive and sexual health, access to abortion care as essential health care, healthy aging, addressing inequalities and inequities that impact health within underserved populations, promoting equitable collection and use of data, and the many environmental health and climate change issues impacting local communities in New Hampshire.Through my two-year Master of Public Health and Graduate Certificate in Health Data Science programs at UNH, I developed detailed skills for investigating existing and emerging public health issues, researching current understanding of and interventions for these issues, synthesizing large amounts of information and data in concise and understandable formats, collaborating with current public health practitioners, and proposing potential opportunities for future directions. I am eager to join the New Hampshire public health industry to apply my project management background, interact with local communities to improve access to health, health equity, and understanding of health issues through improving data collection and presentation.
