About Caitlin Moscarito

I have a strong background in biology, including genomics, molecular biology, and oncology, and have 5+ years of clinical laboratory experience. I am currently working in an Oncology laboratory performing IHC testing and microscopy. I am always open to expanding my knowledge of scientific techniques and hope to become more innovative in the field! My goal is to make a lasting impact on the scientific community through research, creativity, and my passion for science. I assisted with the nationwide pandemic response for 1.5 years as a Molecular laboratory specialist (field operations), where I traveled to client sites/startup laboratories for both Covid-19 and other infectious disease testing and performed laboratory instrument validation, molecular lab setups, personnel training, and assisted with any additional client needs. I have a degree in Biology with a minor in Marine Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I bring enthusiasm and a strong work ethic to the workplace, and have a passion for making a difference in the scientific community.
