Change Your Mind has adopted a holistic approach to counselling. A lot of support is given doing tasks, changing behaviours and in the community with the client to meet their needs. Caitlin empowers participants, helps them to feel responsible and accountable and in control of who they are. Making daily healthy and effective choices is a priority. Caitlin’s practical approach to counselling enables the participants to take action to- improve their daily living skills - build their capacity to meet their goals - feel a sense of joy, purpose, and connection Caitlin supports clients in the following areas below-Trauma – childhood or experiences -Building healthy family dynmaics -Addiction -Anger management -Motivation -Grief and loss -Abuse and domestic violence -Emotional and psychological abuse -Emotional wellbeing management -Communication skills -Achieving goals - Improving daily living skills -Parenting challenges - Self-esteem and identity difficulties -Life transitions, death of a partner, moving home -Work and career -Motivation -Stress, anxiety and depression. Caitlin works with First Steps Solutions as a facilitator and counsellor. First Step Solutions offer NDIS participants an educational program in dating and/or financial literacy. Dateability: Participants learn skills in self- awareness, boundaries, consent, online dating and sexual wellbeing. Participants leave feeling empowered and confident to explore the world of dating. Financial Literacy: Clients are supported to meet their financial goals and learn daily living skills in financial management. They learn to live within their means, manage their income and space
