I am currently working as a Level 2 mechanical designer at United Launch Alliance. I have been in the Ground Support Equipment (GSE) group for our new Vulcan Rocket, which is slated to launch early next year. I work to develop systems that interface with the rocket and support the maintenance of vehicle stability, pressure, temperature, and various other technical factors. My involvement in product development includes conceptualization, design, engineering design reviews, re-iteration processes, stress analysis, drawing creation and release, procurement, test, and final assembly and install work. I have extensive CAD experience and knowledge in Creo/Windchill as well as NX. Additionally, I am well versed in all Office programs. My non-technical daily responsibilities include running working group meetings, coordinating with a variety of groups in the company, corresponding with pertinent suppliers, creating relevant test and fabrication documentation, and managing various tasks collaterally.
