My professional background consists of over twelve (12) years of experience working in local government, including positions held at various agencies such as the City of Napa, City of Rohnert Park, and Napa County Superior Court. Throughout each one of my different occupations, I have demonstrated a proven ability to be dependable, detail-oriented, and a quick learner. My extensive employment history in public service has taught me how to act as a proactive self-starter, communicate with diverse groups of people while building meaningful connections, analyze data accurately yet rapidly, and manage competing priorities under strict deadlines. Some highlights of my career thus far include:• Spearheading the City of Napa’s transition to district-based elections in 2020 and redistricting process in 2021-2022• PIO efforts during the onset of COVID-19 pandemic and leading #NapaBearHunt community outreach campaign • Acting as a Project Manager during the implementation of new citywide software systems such as eCampaign and NextRequest • Two-Time Recipient of City Clerks Association of California (CCAC) “Deputy City Clerk of the Year” for 2021 and City Clerks Association of California (CCAC) “City Clerk of the Year” for 2018 In addition to my work experience, I also possess a bachelor’s degree in Political Science with a minor in Sociology from the University of California, Davis. I am a proud graduate of the Technical Training for Clerks (TTC) Program hosted by the University of California, Riverside University Extension. Upon completion of a series of ongoing professional trainings and educational courses, I received my official designation as a Certified Municipal Clerk (CMC) from the International Institute of Municipal Clerks (IIMC) in 2018. I also currently hold a notary license from the California Secretary of State.My greatest strengths include being technology savvy, remaining calm under pressure, utilizing effective communication skills, motivating fellow employees, demonstrating a positive attitude at all times, exercising a persistent work ethic, and adapting quickly in stressful situations. I am a hardworking individual with a team player mindset who is genuinely dedicated towards helping others succeed and finding long-term solutions.
