Background
About Caitlin Scott
Unlike those who's fascination with crime ends at Netflix's Documentaries, I have taken a step further and earned myself a degree in Criminology which has been one of the best decisions I have made. I am a Criminology Graduate at the University of Gloucestershire and I special interest in cybercrime and forensics. However, I am being open minded to the other opportunities that could arise. I achieved a Second Class Honours (1st Division) in BSc Criminology. I have a passion to work in the Criminal Justice sector and use and develop my skills. I am thrilled to start my career within the Criminal Justice Sector and help the community and society. I am a determined, proactive and confident individual, with excellent motivation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Able to liaise and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels and seen as dependable and well respected. I enjoy working in a challenging environment within small and large cross-functional teams to consistently deliver excellent results and have the ability to do this remotely as well as face to face on a global basis. I'd also describe myself as hardworking, reliable, with high potential. My skill set include- Strong communication skills - Excellent work ethic and determination - Punctual - Dedicated and Hard working - Eye for Detail Although my experience with Criminal Justice jobs may be limited, I have gained some key skills whilst working as a Kitchen Assistant and as Bar staff. Whilst working as a Kitchen Assistant, I developed my skills in time management and communication. The work environment is demanding and fast paced, so it is important to develop these skills in that situation. Working as a barmaid I gained skills in customer service, interpersonal and teamwork, which are highly rewarding and useful. I am confident that I am able to transfer these skills into another work environment. To help educate and broaden my knowledge, I have mixed my hobbies and interests with each other and I am now learning French on Duolingo. I am also reading books on BLM as I am aware of how important the movement is, and I hope to use my knowledge positively. My goals and ambitions are to work within the Criminal Justice sector and help make society a better place. I would also love to develop my skills with technology as it has become a huge part of our daily life.
