About Caitlin Vaudeau

I am an Anatomy and Human Biology graduate from University of Liverpool. My current position as a Healthcare Assistant with Practice Plus Group Ltd will allow me to gain clinical skills (ECG, Phlebotomy, urinalysis BP, O2 saturation levels and lung function)- all useful and fundamental diagnostic tools to use when working as a Physician Associate; my career goal. My previous role as a carer at Greenlane Residential Care Home gave me hands on experience, caring for elderly residents with dementia and mobility issues. Here I developed an excellent bedside manner. Working in both work places will contribute to my future plan of embarking on a career as a Physician Associate. Studying at Master's level and achieving a Physician Associate (MSc) will allow me to work alongside health care professionals to care for, and treat patients in a clinical setting. Through my university degree, I have advanced my dissecting skills in the Human Anatomy Resource Centre (HARC), laboratory skills, developed scientific and essay writing, improved presentation skills and have performed analytical statistics using R. Before attending university I successfully managed my own music teaching business for 10 years, where my interpersonal, organisational and leadership skills developed.
